It is plug and play as in it will work without an issue (aside from the needles bouncing), but the cluster DOES store the mileage. There is currently 54K miles on it I believe. If you're under that get it and just wait until you get there, if you're over that you'll need a reprogram to get it to match your mileage. I can refer you to a guy who did mine, for the cheapest price I could fine. He took a while but he did a good job nonetheless

Got my old cluster up for sale now

http://projectlancer.net/index.php?showtopic=19316#entry295056

Also I figured out the the neew full color clusters aren't the same design The needles cant be changed with out the numbers being changed too. So knowing this I attemped to paint my needles blue.

That was a fail because they were difficult to read.

So I made them white instead

Ive got 2 things to show off.

First is a customer order. They wanted white backlights, white mood lights and uv/purple indicator lights.

Next is my own car. I took the red LEDs out of the indicators. In their place I put green

Very cool! I've only done LED replacement on the map and dome lights, but will be looking into this to do with footwells too!

My suggestion with the floor board lights it to hook them up with variable resistor and you can adjust them

Well in short terms yes, but it actually require a bit more skill than just basic soldering. I give the option to customers to either send me their parts or I can order some off ebay

So I was sent to you by JukEboX, I'm very interested in getting my steering controls and climate controls all blue. How much would that cost me?
