What doe you need:
- Your key for the inside (buttons and ignition chip)
- A flip key shell for your key
- Optional a new battery (it is open so why not)

Step 1:
Choose the right shell for your flip key conversion. Bought mine on eBay:

This seller has shell for a lot of keys. But you can choose where you buy it yourself.

Make sure that the key-blade is the samen as yours and the buttons of your own key fit the shell before you buy it.

Step 2: Cut the key blade
Let a locksmith or the dealer cut the key-blade to match your car. Did this first so i was able to test it right after i installed the internals.

Step 3: Open your old key
Take the screw out of the back and you're able to see the internals

Take out what you need:
- Buttons
- internal bit for buttons
- ignition chip

Optional: replace the battery of your key

Step 4: Place the parts in the flip key shell
Open the shell

place parts in the shell. Tip: place the ignition chip in a little drop of glue so it can't move and make any noise

Place the key blade

place the back cover in a counter clock wise move to set the spring

I did mine as well back in the winter time.
I just purchased the casing from Ebay which you switch over stock internals to new key, then get the key cut.
$25 after it all.
