Front of car:

Front turn signal light: 21watts bulb: WY21W

Head light, high beam: 60watts bulb: 9005 HB3

Head light, low beam: (halogen bulb) 51watts bulb: 9006 HB4

front foglight: 55watts bulb: H11

Front side marker and parking light: 5watts bulb: WY5W 194

Side turn signal light: 5watts bulb: W5W 195

REAR of car:

High mounted stop light: ---watts bulb: -----

License plate: 5watts bulb: W5W 194

back up light: 21watts bulb: 7440

tail light: 5watts bulb: W5W 194

tail and stop light: 21/5watts bulb 7443

rear turn signal: 21watts bulb: 7440

rear sidemarker: 5watts bulb: W5W 194

INSIDE CAR

Trunk Bulb: A12V5W x 28mm (festoon)

Dome Bulb: A12V5W x 31mm (festoon)

Oh well, I got it now.

Trunk area and dome light bulbs are both festoon bulb with a length of 28 and 31mm (actual measurement). Like the image below.

39mm_xenon_lit.jpg

So, basically the specs on stock trunk area light bulb is A12V5W x 28mm. While the stock dome light bulb is A12V8W x 31mm.

As per autolumination's display of replacement LED festoon, the shortest is 31mm. I tried to fit the 31mm to the 28mm socket holder, and it just fit to its flexible terminals. So, we are good with 31mm length.

That's it guys, this is my little contribution on the bulb thing. :D

Well I was wanting to get blue leds. so what do I need to know? Will any 8 watt led work or do I need to know what kind of sockets they are. It would be a great help if you could link me to a set of leds that would work. in other words, find them for me online lol. Thanks in advanced for any help.

PS this is probably the most useful thread I have read on 08 lancers, thanks.

To my knowledge, 8 watt LEDs do not exist, and if they do, they would be as bright as a headlamp LOL

At the moment, http://autolumination.com/ is the only site that I know that has a vast variety in LEDs... your best shot will be dismounting the housing and taking out the bulb... it usually has a number of somthing on it... that number will be the model of the bulb.. then just search it in that site or "google it"

hopefullyt this helps :)

will this fit the dome lights? both front and middle of the car?

http://www.racinglab.com/pixtremsupwh.html

EDIT: if so, the model is T10 (but its 10 watts) so i doubt it because Dome Bulb: A12V5W x 31mm means... A 12 volts 5 watts 31mm long.. but whats the model?

Yes sir, here you go.

Option 1

Option 2

Option 3

As you can see the brand is Nokya. Thats what 90% of us here are using. Excluding the memebers with HID fogs, and PIAA fogs.

No. It wouldn't fit nor work. Our bulbs are 9006. Stick with that.
