I dont think so!!! the final drive is diferent 3.77

Nothing wrong with overall ratio of 3.17016 in 6th and 3.86172 in 5th for a 2.0 ltr motor.

One advantage I see with CVT on a long trip at a constant speed, it becomes unnecessary to marginally vary your speed as I do to help with engine and drive ware factors, as the CVT does that automatically on the up and down hill sections of the road.
