I don't understand how some of these guys got to push there car over 120 I get around 115 and the cars seems maxed out at that point and wont go over that. I can hold it but it stops accelerating...

Had the Lancer 130 (down a very long steep hill) and the s4 148 yesterday had plenty more to go

My Lancer has hit 95 mph.

Was in a friends RA and we hit 120 mph ridiculously fast - but the only thing still stock in his bay are the pistons lol.

Fastest I've driven - 110 in a Honda Odyssey (I kid you not, those things can haul)

125/mph cvt. But I think that's all it'll do, maybe 130.

135 mph (clocked with GPS) Not bad for an unmodded oil burner

I have hit 110 a few times on a 1 mile straight stretch of road near my house and it is still accelerating, but at that point you really have to slow down or risk death.

The key is a long stretch of road and a good radar detector.

3 more mph and I'd have been there.

I'm still paranoid about that rumor stating that the sunroof blows out at 152+ due to differential air pressure.

I did 130 mph twice in one day on two separate occasions.

2011 GTS 5 speed. Had more pull but that's fast enough for now.

So in the far inferior (power wise) 1.8 CVT, I've had 129 flat land, and 139 down a very steep hill.

It did go further than that but had to pick up my phone to make the photo and let the gas off a little (this is in Germany, Autobahn, no speed limit for cars). On the photo is 155 mph but I can do 160 I think, peak power is a little above 7000 so it reaches 260 kmph (theoretically, the speed dial is marked to 240 only :) )
