    I'm thinking of trading up to Ralliart or Evo X later in the future for the dual clutch transmission. Automatic with joy of paddle shifting. we'll see...

  8. I put the Ingen SRI in this morning. WOW! I love it. Sounds great with the 2.4L engine, sounds like it can finally breathe. As stated above, it does pull well with great throttle response. I took the Borla exhaust off, no more drone. The car sounds aggressive, but not obnoxiously loud when I floor it. Definitely improved the driving experience. I'm sure the SRI and the exhaust would've sounded amazing together. But I actually prefer the quieter exhaust, low key.

    Thanks for this. For me, from a complete stop there is definitely a throttle lag. I never really understood the "rubber band" feeling until I experienced it. However from a rolling start, I find the acceleration to be quite good. It's quick and responsive. Foot down, speed up. CVT seems to make the driving experience simplified.   11. I've never had a SRI in my car before. Should I expect excessive loud noise increase from the engine bay when I hit the throttle? I plan on installing, but I don't know what performance and sound changes I should expect. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  12. Just got off work and spent an hour commuting, mixed highway/city driving. The Borla definitely drones around 2k rpm. It's rather annoying, and I'm somewhat embarrassed thinking about how farty it sounds on the outside. I'm considering taking it off. Would it be silly or pointless if I install the Injen SRI and use the stock exhaust? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  13. I just put the Borla exhaust on my 2015 Lancer SE AWC. Fits perfect and sounds good, but starting to be concerned that the CVT is going to be pain on the ears. I have an Injen SRI that I have yet to put on. Can anybody share their experience with aftermarket intakes and exhausts on the CVT? I am starting to regret that I didn't go for a base Lancer manual or step up to RA dual clutch transmission... Will post pics once everythings installed.

I really like the sound, but not yet sure how I feel about the CVT with the exhaust. haven't driven on the highway yet, will the CVT and exhaust drone be annoying? I also have an Injen SRI that I have yet to put in. Do you have an air intake paired with the exhaust on your setup
